After Hours Inventory Carriers:
Tesla (NASDAQ:) shares fell 0.7% after falling 5.6% during the regular session following reports that two key executives have left the company amid plans for more layoffs. Analysts called it a “rainy day” for the automaker as shares fell to an 11-month low.
Macatawa Bank (MCBC) then gained 40% and Wintrust Financial (NASDAQ:) jointly announced that they have entered into a definitive agreement to merge Wintrust to acquire Macatawa in an all-stock transaction.
Gildan Activewear (NYSE:) shares rose 1.2% after the company reported first-quarter preliminary sales that topped estimates. The clothing maker also confirmed its full-year guidance.
Mitek Systems (NASDAQ:) fell 7% after the company reported second-quarter results that missed estimates, although full-year revenue guidance was roughly in line with forecasts.
Kaival Brands Innovations Group (KAVL) shares fell 10% after rising 136% in the regular session.
Trump Media & Technology Group (DJT) shares fell 5%, extending an 18% intraday decline, after the company filed documents with the SEC allowing it to sell millions of shares on behalf of insiders, including the former president.
