Warren Buffett’s shopping extravaganza begins with a Squishmallows pit

OMAHA, Neb. – Warren Buffett’s Annual Trading Event Pregame Berkshire HathawayThe company’s annual meeting of shareholders wows shareholders gathered in Omaha this weekend.

The downtown Omaha showroom at CHI Medical Center, with more than 20,000 square feet of space and more than 50,000 products, features products from a variety of Berkshire holding companies, from Brooks Running to See’s Candies to Jazwares.

Only shareholders can take part in the event and will be able to purchase goods at a special discount.

Jazzwars

Jazwares, the American toy maker best known for its Squishmallows line of plush toys, scored a hit last year when it debuted its products at the Berkshire Hathaway conference, including the debut of a Warren Buffett plush toy. This year the company expanded its exposition in the conference hall, increasing it three times.

Some of the highlights include the newest Squishmallows toys for Buffett and Charlie Munger, a colorful Squishmallows pit, as well as other exhibits.

Poor Charlie’s Almanac

Bookworm sold only one book this year: Poor Charlie’s Almanac: The Essential Wit and Wisdom of Charles T. Munger. It was done at Buffett’s request to honor his business partner of more than 60 years, who died in November at age 99.
