Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in indices and sectors led shares higher.

The top gainers of the session were Allied Cooperative Insurance Group SJSC (TADAWUL:), which rose 9.91%, or 1.82 points, to finish at 20.18. Al-Jouf Agricultural Development Co (TADAWUL:) gained 7.83%, or 4.50 points, to finish at 62.00. International ACWA Power (TADAWUL:) shares were up 5.74% or 22.20 points at 409.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Mediterranean & Gulf Insurance Co (TADAWUL:), which fell 10.00% or 3.10 points to trade at 27.90 at the close. Gulf General Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:) was down 10.00%, or 1.60 points, to close at 14.40, while Saudi Arabia Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:) was down 9.98%, or 1. .98 points, to 17.86.
Declining shares outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabian Stock Exchange by 166 versus 112, while 23 stocks ended unchanged.

Oil for June delivery rose 0.81%, or 0.63, to $78.89 a barrel. In commodities, Brent crude for July delivery rose 0.66%, or 0.55, to $83.34 a barrel, while the June gold futures contract fell 0.98%, or 23.30. to $2,351.70 per troy ounce.
EUR/SAR rose 0.13% to 4.05, while USD/SAR was unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
