The best performers of the session were Zahrat Al Waha Trading Co (TADAWUL:) shares rose 9.97% or 4.30 points to trade at 47.45 at the close. Meanwhile, Rydan Co. Saudi Cable Company (TADAWUL:) shares rose 8.09%, or 2.50 points, to finish at 33.40. Saudi Cable Company (TADAWUL:) shares rose 6.49%, or 4.80 points, to finish at 78.80.
The worst performers of the session were Gulf Insurance Group (TADAWUL:), which fell 9.94% or 3.85 points to trade at 34.90 at the close. Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:) fell 7.14% or 0.01 points to close at 0.13 and Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:) shares were down 5.63% or 2.00 points at 33.50.
Declining shares outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabian Stock Exchange by 161 to 119, with 18 ending unchanged.

Oil for June delivery fell 1.22%, or 0.96, to $77.99 a barrel. In commodities, Brent crude for July delivery fell 1.04%, or 0.87, to $82.80 a barrel, while the June gold futures contract rose 0.02%, or 0.50. up to $2310.10 per troy ounce.

EUR/SAR rose 0.37% to 4.04, while USD/SAR was unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
US Dollar Index futures fell 0.21% to 104.96.
