Emergency crews are battling the second fire in a week at the Novo Nordisk (NYSE:) headquarters in Bagsvärde, a suburb of Copenhagen.
The Danish pharmaceutical company said the fire, which started outside the building, spread to an adjacent office.
“Fire crews are present and the fire extinguishing process is expected to last several hours,” the company wrote.
HBO shares fell 1.7% in premarket trading.
Fortunately, the smoke is non-toxic and no injuries were reported.
The accident comes less than a week after a fire broke out at another Novo Nordisk facility in Kalundborg, west of Copenhagen.
It happened on the roof of a new building under construction at a manufacturing site where the company is expanding its capacity to produce diabetes and weight-loss drugs.
