Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the index and sectors led shares higher.
At the close of trading in Tel Aviv, quotes rose 0.81%, reaching a new 52-week high.
The best performer of the session was Nova (TASE:), rising 7.45% or 4,530.00 points to trade at 65,330.00 at close. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:) shares rose 121.00 points, or 2.58%, to close at 4,820.00. Sikun and Binui (TASE:) was up 2.35%, or 23.00 points, at 979.00 in late trade.
The worst performance of the session was Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:), which fell 1.98% or 280.00 points to trade at 13,850.00 at the close. Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:) shares were down 1.08% or 52.00 points to finish at 4,748.00. Energix TASE:) stock quotes decreased by 0.97%, or 13.00 points, to 1326.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 299 to 162, while 75 ended unchanged.

Oil for April delivery rose 1.98%, or 1.55, to $79.81 a barrel. In commodities trading, Brent crude for May delivery rose 1.89%, or 1.55, to $83.46 a barrel, while April gold futures rose 1.80%, or 36.90. and traded at $2091.60 per troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.18% at 3.56, while EUR/ILS was up 0.13% at 3.86.
US Dollar Index futures fell 0.26% to 103.82.
