Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the index and sectors led shares higher.
At the close of trading in Tel Aviv, shares were up 0.50% to hit a new 52-week high.
The top gainers of the session were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:), which rose 2.73%, or 160.00 points, to close at 6,030.00. Meanwhile, Nova (TASE:) rose 2.15% or 1,510.00 points to close at 71,760.00, while NICE Ltd (TASE:) rose 2.11 %, or 1,750.00 points, and completed trading at 84,550.00.
The worst performance of the session was Israeli corporation (TASE:), which fell 2.40% or 2,240.00 points to trade at 91,210.00 at the close. OPK Energy Ltd (TASE:) fell 2.16% or 63.00 points to close at 2,851.00 and Kamtek Ltd (TASE:) fell 2.06% or 710.00 points to 33,700.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 264 to 207, with 66 stocks ending unchanged.

Oil for June delivery fell 1.34%, or 1.06, to $78.20 a barrel. In commodities, Brent crude for July delivery fell 1.31%, or 1.10, to $82.78 a barrel, while the June gold futures contract rose 1.14%, or 26.60. , up to $2,366.90 per troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.06% at 3.72 and EUR/ILS was unchanged 0.08% at 4.01.
