Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the index and sectors led shares higher.
At the close of trading in Tel Aviv, quotes rose 0.25%.
The best performers of the session were Big Shopping Centers Ltd (TASE:) shares rose 2.88% or 1,050.00 points to close at 37,530.00. Meanwhile, OPK Energy Ltd (TASE:) added 77.00 points, or 2.80%, to close at 2,826.00. Strauss Group TASE:) shares rose 2.61%, or 168.00 points, to 6,608.00 in late trading.
The worst performers of the session were NICE Ltd (TASE:), which fell 3.34% or 2,410.00 points to close at 69,800.00. Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:) fell 3.05% or 148.00 points to end at 4,702.00, while Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:) fell 1.34% or 83.00 points. ., to the level of 6,102.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 275 to 174, while 89 ended unchanged.
Oil for July delivery rose 1.21%, or 0.93, to $77.80 a barrel. In commodities trading, Brent crude for August delivery rose 0.90%, or 0.73, to $81.84 a barrel, while the June gold futures contract fell 0.09%, or 2.00. up to $2335.20 per troy ounce.
USD/ILS fell 0.46% to 3.66, while EUR/ILS fell 0.15% to 3.97.
US Dollar Index futures fell 0.37% to 104.65.
