Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the index and sectors led shares higher.
At the Tel Aviv close, shares added 0.03%.
The best performers of the session were Delek Group (TASE:) which rose 3.51% or 1,440.00 points to trade at 42,440.00 at the close. Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:) shares rose 260.00 points (1.92%) to close at 13,790.00. Bezeq Israel Telecommunications Corp Ltd (TASE:) shares rose 3.90 points (0.88%) to finish at 444.70.
The worst performance of the session was Strauss Group (TASE:), which fell 6.45% or 426.00 points to trade at 6182.00 at the close. Harel (TASE:) shares were down 1.54% or 48.00 points to finish at 3,073.00. Sikun and Binui TASE:) shares fell 1.40%, or 11.00 points, to 772.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 264 to 186, with 88 ending unchanged.

Oil for July delivery rose 0.94%, or 0.73, to $78.45 a barrel. In commodities, Brent crude for August delivery rose 0.92%, or 0.75, to $82.59 a barrel, while June gold futures rose 0.94%, or 21.85. and traded at $2,356.35 per troy ounce.
USD/ILS rose 0.51% to 3.67 and EUR/ILS rose 0.55% to 3.99.
US Dollar Index futures fell 0.13% to 104.50.
