The best performers on the MDAX index were Delivery Hero AG (ETR:), which rose 26.18% to 31.96, Fraport AG (ETR:), whose shares rose 5.55% to close at 50.60, and Extron SE (ETR:) shares rose 5.36% to close at 22.61.
The worst performers were Unified Internet AG NA (ETR:) was down 4.84% at 23.20 in late trade. Hensoldt Ag (ETR:), which lost 3.74% to settle at 38.08, and Stabilus (ETR:), which was down 2.33% at 54.40 at the close.
The leaders of the TecDAX rating are: Nagarro SE (ETR:), which rose 22.81% to 88.85, Eckert and Ziegler AG ON (ETR:) shares rose 9.66% to close at 44.26, while Cancom SE ON (ETR:) shares rose 6.98% to close at 31.58.

June gold futures rose 0.42%, or 9.95, to $2,352.95 a troy ounce. In commodities trading, crude oil prices for June delivery fell 1.66%, or 1.31, to $77.81 a barrel, while the July Brent contract fell 1.42%, or 1.18, and traded at $82.18 per barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.26% at 1.08 and EUR/GBP was unchanged 0.05% at 0.86.
US Dollar Index futures fell 0.16% to 104.94.
