Investing.com – Germany equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the index and sectors led shares higher.
At the Frankfurt close, the index was up 0.37%, the index was up 0.61%, and the index was up 0.05%.
The best performers of the session were Porsche Automobil Holding SE (ETR:) shares rose 2.78%, or 1.35 points, to close at 49.92. At the same time, shares of RWE AG ST ON (ETR:) added 0.87 points, or 2.55%, to close at 35.02 and Bayer AG NA (ETR:) was up 2.32%, or 0.64 points, at 28.27 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Deutsche Boerse AG (ETR:), which fell 0.81% or 1.50 points to trade at 182.90 at the close. Adidas AG (ETR:) was down 0.54% or 1.20 points to finish at 222.70 and Commerzbank AG ON (ETR:) fell 0.48%, or 0.08 points, to 15.59.
The best performers on the MDAX index were Wacker Hemi ON (ETR:), which rose 4.29% to 105.80, Evotek AG ON (ETR:), which rose 3.79% to close at 9.18, and Fraport AG (ETR:) shares rose 3.56% to close at 52.35.
The worst performers were Extron SE (ETR:), which closed down 2.86% to 22.72. Hello Fresh SE (ETR:), which lost 1.40% to settle at 5.79, and Delivery Hero AG (ETR:), which was down 1.11% at 29.53 at the close.
Top gainers on TecDAX were Evotec AG ON (ETR:), which rose 3.79% to 9.18. Hensoldt Ag (ETR:), up 2.73% to close at 38.32, and Kontron AG (ETR:), up 2.21% to close at 21.30.
The worst performers were Suess Microtec NA ON (ETR:), which fell 5.79% to 57.00 in late trading, Aixtron SE (ETR:), which lost 2.86% to settle at 22.72, Nemechek AG ON (ETR:) was down 0.82% at 91.05 at the close.
Advancing shares outnumbered declining ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 387 to 231, while 25 ended unchanged.
The index measuring the implied volatility of DAX options fell 0.09% to 12.32, a new one-month low.
Gold futures for June delivery rose 0.87%, or 20.30, to $2,354.80 a troy ounce. In commodities, crude oil for July delivery rose 1.27%, or 0.99, to $78.71 a barrel, while the August Brent contract rose 1.25%, or 1.02. to $82.86 per barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.15% at 1.09 and EUR/GBP was unchanged 0.18% at 0.85.
US Dollar Index futures fell 0.14% to 104.49.
