Bitcoin Suisse President Lucius Meisser resigned at its annual general meeting on Thursday. He remains a member of the board of directors.
Marco Menotti, who joined the board of directors last year, became president. In addition, Ani Banerjee joined the board of directors, and Urs Bigger left it without seeking re-election.
Menotti has worked for more than 30 years in the financial sector, including six years at Credit Suisse and more than 15 years at UBS. In the latter, he became head of banking products in Switzerland, leaving in 2018. He then spent over four years at Six Group, where he headed the banking department and was a member of the executive board.
