The worst performance of the session was Austal LLC (ASX:), which fell 4.66% or 0.10 points to trade at 1.95 at the close. EML Payments Ltd (ASX:) was down 3.63% or 0.04 points to finish at 0.93, while Healius Ltd (ASX:) was down 3.42% or 0 .04 points, up to 1.13.
Advancing shares outnumbered declining ones on the Sydney Stock Exchange by 636 to 621, with 352 ending unchanged.
