Apple services were unavailable to users in countries such as the US, UK, India, China and Australia. The outage began at about 22:13 GMT on Wednesday and lasted more than an hour, status pages showed.
According to Downdetector, which tracks outages by collating status reports from multiple sources, more than 6,400 users reported problems they encountered using the App Store, and Apple TV+ and Apple Music had more than 1,000 reports at the outage’s peak in the US. , including users.
