(Reuters) – Canadian union Unifor said on Tuesday its members at Bombardier (OTC:) will continue to strike after rejecting what it called the business jet maker’s “final offer.”
Two union locals, 112 and 673, called a strike at the company, failing to reach an agreement by June 22.
Their 1,350 workers assemble Bombardier’s Global Series long-haul aircraft at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport.
The union said Tuesday it believes the company’s offer is “insufficient,” adding that “both sides disagree on key union priorities.”
Bombardier and Unifor will continue negotiations, the union said, without disclosing details.
Bombardier was not available for comment.
