VP Bank Group CEO has resigned after five years in the post, the bank said in a May 8 statement.
Paul Arney will leave the bank and Urs Monstein, the bank’s vice president of operations, will temporarily assume the role of CEO. Arnie will be available as a transition consultant and the search for his successor has begun, the bank said.
Arnie joined the Liechtenstein-headquartered bank in 2019 as its CEO. Previously, he worked for Deutsche Bank Switzerland, Julius Baer, Credit Suisse and UBS.
