Independent asset manager Brainvest appointed David Capitan Morais as head of discretionary portfolio management, effective last month.
“There was no predecessor to this position as the position was only created after the company had experienced significant growth,” Captain Morais told Citywire. Global assets have doubled in the past 12 months.
The company currently manages $5 billion (CHF 4.5 billion) in client assets, of which $2.5 billion is managed from Geneva. Last year, the company merged with two Brazilian multi-family offices, Enso and KPC Consultoria.
