Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the index and sectors led shares higher.
At the close of trading in Tel Aviv, shares added 0.27%.
The best performers of the session were Energix (TASE:), which rose 4.28% or 57.00 points to trade at 1390.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:) added 3.96% or 2,920.00 points to close at 76,620.00. Electra Ltd (TASE:) rose 3.21% or 4,460.00 points to end at 143,460.00.
The worst performers of the session were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:), which fell 2.61% or 136.00 points to trade at 5,075.00. Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:) was down 2.59% or 320.00 points to finish at 12,050.00, while NICE Ltd (TASE:) was down 2.16% or 1,950. 00 points, to 88,250.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 235 versus 195, while 109 stocks ended unchanged.

Oil for May delivery rose 0.51%, or 0.43, to $85.45 a barrel. In commodities trading, Brent crude for June delivery rose 0.46%, or 0.41, to $90.15 a barrel, while the June gold futures contract fell 0.53%, or 12.50. , and traded at $2,360.20 per troy ounce.
USD/ILS rose 0.84% to 3.77, while EUR/ILS was unchanged 0.05% to 4.01.
US Dollar Index futures rose 0.72% to 105.82.
